With heat, noise and emission regulations becoming increasingly stringent year on year we see more tightly enclosed engines in a variety of equipment. Due to the critical packaging requirements for the engine, the need to keep exhaust gas temperatures high and the greater use of electronic equipment in the engine area, from both a performance and safety aspect there are benefits from using tailor made insulation.
Our insulation systems are based on a combination of woven glass and silica fabrics, needle mats and stainless steel cloth. These materials offer an ideal balance of flexibility, strength, performance and economy at temperatures up to +1000°C.
